
Mailboxes & Posts
Homeowners in Charleston Crossing are responsible for properly maintaining their mailboxes and posts, which includes keeping mailboxes free of rust, scratches, dents or other damage, and painting the posts.
Current standards:
Posts: Blunt-style 4x4 wood post, natural in color.
Mailboxes: T-1 small metal mailbox, black in color, with address number on both sides.
Vinyl Graphics: Cream colored, Caxton font on both sides of box.
Mailboxes: T-1 small metal mailbox, black in color, with address number on both sides.
Vinyl Graphics: Cream colored, Caxton font on both sides of box.
The owner does not need to receive prior written approval of the Board before installing a new mailbox or post as long as these guidelines are followed.

No plastic, resin, poly-vinyl, vinyl, wood, or rubber mailboxes are permitted. No plastic, resin, poly-vinyl, vinyl, rubber, metal, brick or stone posts or post/box combination (i.e. Rubbermaid-style) are permitted.
Any mailbox or post installed, painted, or maintained in violation of this rule may be replaced by the Association with a mailbox and/or post that complies with the specifications in this rule. If the Association replaces a mailbox and/or post under this rule, the owner will be responsible to reimburse the Association for all of its costs and expenses, including materials and labor, paid as a result of the work.
